Mrs. Sturdevant, an honorary member of Joyce Burns Art Studio, painted this acrylic on canvas at the age of 71. Sadly, as with the Cloudcroft Trestle, this great talent has been halted because of time. At her present age of 92 Evelyn is no longer able to touch us all with these types of views.

Cloudcroft Trestle for 50 years was the Almagordo Sacremento Mountain Railroad which caried passengers and freight from the desert floor into the tall pine country of Cloudcroft, New Mexico 6,000 feet. The train line was abandoned in 1948.
