I received my first art instruction under my father, who is a talented self-taught artist.
In the fall of 2006 I began studying under Mrs. Joyce Burns at her studio. She is a blessing to the community and much loved by all of her students.
I work in graphite pencil, charcoal, and pastel. I feel my pictures reflect my interest in history, genealogy, languages, and music. I most enjoy portraits, especially those depicting people from different parts of the world.
I live on acreage in the Ozark Mountains with my family and our two 'great' dogs, AJ & Hannah (Great Dane and Great Pyrenees).
I hope to build an engaging portfolio as a freelance artisit.
