I started painting when my youngest child started College.

As my Mother painted on everything for as long as I can remember. She was a great influence on me.

I have been oil painting for the last 25 years.

I love the company of other artists, so I went to Joyce Burns' Art Studio in Clinton, Arkansas.

Mrs. Burn taught me to use pastels and I love that medium as much as oils.

I paint in realism and my favorite subject matters are children and animals.
